AMAZING BAND!
Having worked for Alive Network myself for 15+ years, I've seen my fair share of bands! These guys are up there with the very best I've seen. They pitched the set list perfectly and the dance floor was heaving from the first chord to the last! Great to deal with and real top notch musicians - would book them again in a heartbeat! -
Amazing Performance!
The Low Down were simply amazing on our wedding day! They played three sets with an amazing set list to suit everyone's taste in music. They also performed a special rendition of our first dance song. We loved having them with us! -
Killer band!

Banging
These guys are the truth. We had the 4 piece and an extra set and they absolutely packed it out. Josh and the guys were really communicative from the outset, really flexible and accommodating to all our requests and went above and beyond to make sure we had the day we wanted. They were perfect professionals and then absolutely killed it on the day. They are proper performers, sounded great and rocked hard. 11/10. -
They far exceeded our already high expectations
The Low Down played at our wedding recently and were just so wonderful from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for more. They were easy to get in touch with before the event and had lots of helpful suggestions as to what would work. On the day itself, they were equally lovely - prompt, polite, attentive etc. And their music was just incredible. The dance floor was packed during their sets - they read the room and tailored it accordingly and the guests couldn’t speak more highly of them. Thank you all so much for helping to make our day so special! -
Couldn’t have asked for a better band for our wedding day!
The Lowdown were FANTASTIC! Their performance got everyone up and dancing and all our guests said how great they were! Josh went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time and smoothest experience. Thank you for making our big day so special! -
Fantastic - would highly recommend
The Low Down played at our wedding in Richmond and were absolutely fantastic! The guests all loved them and they are clearly pros. They read the room and knew what the play to get the dance floor going. Communication was great beforehand and couldn't recommend them more! 5* -
Best. Band. Ever!
I have had the pleasure of seeing The Low down 4 times now - when booking them nearly 2 years ago, I found out they were doing a jubilee fete so saw them there - electric atmosphere. Then they played my friends wedding as she coincidentally booked them - again the guests LOVED them. From that, my colleagues booked them for our Christmas party and were all saying how lucky I was to have them playing for my wedding Aug 23. They were once again phenomenal - dance floor was PACKED all night. Guests are still raving about them and they are just a lovely group of guys - so professional and quick to reply when contacted. Fingers crossed our paths cross again soon! -
Fantastic band, made the night incredible
Firstly the communication with the band was amazing, from talking about feeding them to making sure the songs would match the feel of the night. Josh and his bandmates smashed it. the first dance song was perfect. exactly what we wanted and the mix of some classic 80/90's songs with more modern songs was perfect. I think the dance floor was filled from start to finish. they even were able to play our playlist in-between sets. the guys were nothing but professional, and I kept getting great comments from the wedding guests about the band. over all was a great day helped by these guys. would recommend booking them if you're on the fence about it. If I need a band in future I would defiantly be looking to book them again. -
The sunny point of a rainy day
We cannot thank Josh and the band enough for their adaptability and exceptional performance. We had Josh for the daytime for ceremony music and drinks reception, which was a little chaotic due to last minute change of plans due to weather. Josh took it in his stride and made the ceremony and reception brighter than the weather. The full band for the evening were excellent, and we've had so much great feedback on the sets. "You couldn't get a better band for a bunch of alt-millennials like us" was a quote that really summed it up. We've given your contact details to others who will be getting married soon so hope we get to experience it again. Josh was excellent in the run up and was really thorough - even helped with a first dance song that we were very indecisive on. Thanks again!
