The Best Band, the Best first dance
These guys are exceptional. So friendly, so talented and so much fun. We went for a less traditional song for our first dance - the baywatch theme. It was perfect, the band was amazing, and everyone got on the dance floor immediately...... and they never left. We danced and sang non stop, and the band were fantastic! Full of energy, great set list and just the absolute best evening and end to our wedding. Everyone loved them and I genuinely couldn't recommend them more. Thank you so so much for making our first dance and wedding party the most fun it could have ever been. Helen and Clive x -
Absolutely smashing band
Thank you to The Low Down for such a wonderful set! From start to finish they catered to our musical needs and played banger after banger! They worked tirelessly through the humidity and their talent is unmatched. We had nearly every guest commenting on how incredible they were! And luckily managed to pack up at the end before a stupendous thunder storm! If we ever have another event, they will be top of the list! We recommend to everyone to hire this band! Exactly what we wanted!
We decided to book the low down based only on the website reviews as our guide. I am so pleased we did! The band were professional and really respectful to our guests and individual requirements. Great communication before the day from Alive Network and Josh from the band to make sure we were all happy even when our venue had to change. The sound was great and they played a variety of songs that were just what we wanted. A genuinely lovely group of guys who tried their best to make our wedding extra special. Our guests gave us plenty of compliments about the music and we will definitely be looking out for a chance to hear them again. 100% would recommend -
A phenomenal band who made our evening
This band were recommended to us by the owners of a venue in East Sussex. We didn't pick the venue but we booked the band and they certainly didn't disappoint. The Low Down played our first dance that we requested, and their set up and pack-up was a slick affair that didn't intrude on the party at all. Moreover, they played fantastic music and had all the guests dancing; they judged our vibe and the feeling of the room perfectly and made our evening. For the past week our guests have been commenting on what a fantastic band they were and I cannot speak more highly of them. -
Great guys!
Easy going guys from the pre-call to the end of the set list. They played some great songs and kept the dancefloor busy! I would definitely recommend them to anybody who is looking for a 3 piece rock band! -
Fantastic!
I hired the Low Down for my 40th birthday. From communication before the day to the end of the party I couldn’t fault them. I felt totally at ease that they knew what they were doing and so knew the night would be a success. Many people commented on how great they were and it was true they really were! I would definitely hire them again for any party’s we have . Thank you again to the guys for making the night! -
Love Live Music! Lots of guests commented on how good they were!
The Low Down were a 'proper' band and really added to the party. It really makes a difference to have good live music. We had a party for about 100 people and lots of guests commented on how good they were. They were responsive before the event and easy to communicate with. They arrived in plenty of time, were self sufficient and very polite. -
Absolutely amazing
Absolutely amazing, really made our wedding special! All the guests enjoyed the variety in songs and atmosphere provided. Josh had great communication with us beforehand and was a really nice guy to deal with. Would definitely book again! -

Made the evening!
Guys, what can I say? Awesome! Seriously, so many of our guests came to me through the night to say how good the bad were and I can’t disagree. They travelled a very long way to play for us, we’re set up in time and gave us an amazing time. The dance floor stayed full and we didn’t want the music to stop. Genuinely lovely guys to speak to and organising was really simple. Thank you!
