Band Member Bios

Ben Johnsen - Lead Vocals / Guitar

Ben is a graduate of the British and Irish Modern Music Institute in Brighton and having played guitar for 14 years, he has extensive live and studio experience. Touring the UK with original bands and recording in various studios, Ben has learnt his craft and this is evident when seeing him perform live and he is also a confident and energetic frontman. As well as performing Ben has taught both privately and in schools passing down his experience to others.


Arron Cassidy - Bass / BVs

Arron picked up the bass aged 13 and has been playing in bands since day 1. Arron studied at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute under some of the best players in the country, across a huge range of styles. Arron has toured the UK and Europe, and had songs featured on BBC Radio 1, Radio 2 and 6Music. Arron has also worked with or shared the stage with a number of high profile musicians such as Huey Morgan, Wiley, Conor Maynard and Union J.


Ben Thomas - Drums / BVs

Ben has been playing drums since the age of 10 and has been playing with bands and solo artists ever since. Ben studied at The Academy of contemporary music and the British and Irish Modern Music Institute in Brighton, studying under some of the UK’s top drummers and percussionists. Professionally, Ben has been teaching the drums himself since 2008 and has played with many artists in the U.K. most Notably and recently with U.K. Artist Rag n Bone Man. Playing some of the UK’s and Europe’s biggest festivals including Montreux Jazz festival, Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds. With this project Ben has also toured the U.K. and Europe on headline tours and support tours with Bastille and Tom Odell. Ben has also worked in music studios working on several other artists and library music album projects as well as appearing on Radio 1 live lounge, Maida Vale sessions, UK and European TV shows.
